Pranayama and spinal wave yoga

Welcome to this pranayama and spinal wave yoga class.
In the beginning we will do a short Sama Vritti breathing exercise, after which we will focus on moving our spine, and creating this wave like movement, representing all the fluids in our body. In a healthy body the fluids move easily, and we want to enforce that. The spine is crucial for our nervous system, which again affects so many parts of our body and mind.

NOTE: This yoga class includes many downward-facing dogs and its variations, and it can be heavy on the wrists. We will warm up our wrists in the beginning, but if you have wrist injuries, I do not recommend this yoga class.
